Stephanie Greenlees joined KAPLAN AND KAPLAN in June of 2017. Stephanie’s work at KAPLAN AND KAPLAN is primarily in the areas of personal injury, civil litigation and criminal defense. Stephanie has represented individuals in a wide range of civil matters including products liability, motor vehicle collisions, slip/trip and falls, premises liability, medical malpractice, civil rights and defamation matters. She has defended individuals facing drug related charges, DUI, assault, violating a protection order, and other criminal charges. Stephanie has represented civil and criminal clients in both Federal and State court. Stephanie also has considerable experience in family law and has represented clients in divorce cases, post-divorce property matters, custody modification, child support modification, and parentage matters.
Stephanie graduated from University of Denver in 2006 and was a member of DU’s Division I Women’s Lacrosse program from 2002-2006. In 2012, she graduated from Vermont Law School with her Juris Doctor and Masters in Environmental Law and Policy. Stephanie was thereafter admitted to the Vermont Bar in 2013 and to the United States District for the District of Vermont in 2014. Stephanie is also a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel.
Away from the office, Stephanie lives in Burlington and enjoys spending her weekends outdoors and hiking with her dog. She is one of six children and was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago.
