Stephanie Greenlees has been with KAPLAN AND KAPLAN since June 2017. Stephanie has considerable litigation experience representing clients in both State and Federal Courts. Stephanie’s practice is focused in the areas of civil litigation and personal injury. She represents individuals in a wide range of civil matters including motor vehicle collisions, slip/trip and falls, premises liability, wrongful death, products liability, invasion of privacy, civil rights, and defamation. Stephanie is a zealous and aggressive advocate for her clients and has a track record of obtaining favorable settlement for clients who have been injured due to another’s wrongful conduct.
Stephanie’s practice also includes federal criminal defense and defending clients facing charges in the United States District Court for the District of Vermont. Stephanie has represented clients in federal criminal matters ranging from drug offenses, firearm offenses, to immigration offenses.
Stephanie graduated from University of Denver in 2006 and was a member of DU’s Division I Women’s Lacrosse program from 2002-2006. She graduated from Vermont Law School in 2012 with her Juris Doctor and Masters in Environmental Law and Policy. Stephanie was admitted to the Vermont Bar in 2013, the United States District Court for the District of Vermont in 2014, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York in 2021. Stephanie is also a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel.
